Is Doncaster. Is Good.

March 31 – April 3, 2023

One for punters, footy fans and those about whom it may be fairly said enjoy the finer things in this sporting life. To wit watching horse racing and rugby league while drinking from glass. And not playing golf, in this instance, admittedly something of a pivot for a golf tour company.

Regardless, we’ll see the Doncaster from behind glass while eating something tasty at Royal Randwick. And we’ll watch Melbourne Storm and South Sydney Rabbitohs in a corporate box at Accor Stadium. And we’ll also enjoy that very Australian tradition of the Sunday Session at the fabulous Clovelly Hotel.

And it should be very good fun.

Friday 31 March

After check-in at Crowne Plaza Coogee we’ll meet for a beer in the rustic and famous Coogee Bay Hotel Sports Bar. At 4:30pm we’ll board our Private Bus for the 45-minute trip to Homebush where we’ll settle in to watch Raiders vs Panthers in the Locker Room Bar. At half-time we’ll find our way to the VIP Entrance of Accor Stadium and ensconce ourselves in the luxurious surrounds of a private suite while watching the marquee grudge match of Melbourne Storm and South Sydney Rabbitohs. Travel back to Coogee is via the same Private Bus.

Souths vs Cameron Munster.

Saturday 1 April

After a swim at Coogee Beach and a sumptuous breakfast we’ll take our bus to Royal Randwick for the Doncaster. After severely bleeding local and corporate bookmakers, we’ll wind our way through the adoring crowds and take our bus back to Coogee.

Sunday 2 April

After another swim and another sumptuous breakfast we’ll take a cleansing 30 minute stroll around the headlands from Coogee to the famous Clovelly Hotel. There we’ll enjoy a nice lunch prior to a tilt in the punters paradise. At about 6pm we’ll take the courtesy bus back to Coogee for a few cleansers and some ‘boogie’ dancing on the Coogee Pavilion Rooftop.

TAB facilities at Clovelly Hotel are best practice.

TBA depending on Single / Twin-share, and room rates at Crowne.
